Recent till work shows an average ~0.6 g/t placer gold in 5 samples spaced across 150 meters
Lac Minerals - ~1984 Eight small diamonds were recovered by Lac Minerals. The largest diamond
weighs 0.17 carats, and a second stone of 0.08 carats, plus six smaller diamonds, were recovered
from approximately 17,000 kg of sample.
Regal Goldfields - In 1993, the western portion of the kimberlite was sampled using 8" diameter
down-hole pneumatic hammer equipment. ~ 123 tonnes of kimberlite were recovered and
processed to yield seven diamonds larger than 1mm. The diamonds, six of which are of good gem
quality, weigh 0.029, 0.0305, 0.0375, 0.0565, 0.0635, 0.121, and 0.2035 carats, respectively. The
0.0305 carat stone is bright and clear but contains small inclusions
